NewsLeeward Capital Corp. produces 500 kg of burmite per year at present. This amber comes from a site in the Hukawng Valley of Kachin State, in northern Myanmar (Burma). The Hukawng Valley lies astride the famous Lido Road. Access to the amber deposit in the Hukawng Valley is via the Lido Road which extends from India, across northern Myanmar, and joins the Burma Road at Myitkynia, the capital of Kachin State. |
